Post subject: New Hunter application from Viseyo (declined) Posted: Fri Nov 06, 2009 1:56 am |

Application:Name:Class:Level:Race:Name of CharacterClass & talent build- Class: Hunter
Talent Build: 0/15/56 (Mainspec, Survival), 7/57/7 (Offspec, Marksmanship) AgeNationalityCurrent Guild- Currently unguilded; since, I believe 29/10/09.
Previous GuildsPrevious Raiding Experience- Naxxramas 10/25 - 15/15
EoE 10 - 1/1 VoA 10/25 - 3/3 OS 10/25 - 2/4 (1D) Ulduar 10 - 12/14 Onyxia 10 - 1/1 TotC 10 - 5/5 What you have to offer the guild- I've got a good amount of time and a lot of energy to dedicate to raiding. I'm always trying to improve my DPS, making sure it's where it should be and if it could be improved (moving into 25 mans I will likely be changing my Surv spec for less mana regen and more overall dmg, and possibly focussing more on my MM) so I believe I can be a competitive DPS'er to add to your raiding core; and If I'm not hitting hard enough I will make steps to improve it instead of relying on other peoples numbers to get us through the encounters. I'd also like to think I have the patience necessary when it comes to progression raiding.
If people need the gear or it sounds like fun I'm also generally up for anything in-game/out of raid hours and will participate in /g chat if I can add something interesting, funny etc.
It may not be necessary but these are a few WoL damage reports: Recent 10 man VoA - http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/lzw1 ... amageDone/ Uld 10, this doesn't show the big numbers but I hope it shows to some degree that I can for the most part keep the DPS up when perhaps another class/player might get into trouble - http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/YcAH ... amageDone/ TotC 10 HC, don't remember this being a great night for me at all - http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/bygn ... amageDone/ Reason for leaving current guild- Fundamentally it was because I was finding the raids persistently stressful and not very enjoyable as a result of issues I couldn't see us ever truely overcoming. I was an officer in this guild for the majority of my time in it (from the WotLK launch till slightly over a week ago now); we had gone through some tricky times and made big improvements in a lot of areas, but for the above reason and me feeling like I'd given it my all I decided to call it a day (I talked to the GM and the guild first ofc, and made the split as amicable as possible). I've still got a lot of respect for them so I've tried not to go into too much detail as to why I left, but I've hopefully given the gist of it.
It may also be worth mentioning that I was in Revolution a long time ago (the only other Alliance side guild I've really been in). It was mid to late TBC I believe, never participated in any real raids with you guys (think I may have gone on a ZG skill/team building run when you guys were just about to start serious end-game raiding) before I decided to temporarily stop playing, mainly due to school work. Since getting back into the game I've improved a lot and put many many hours into theorycrafting, e.g: EJ, MMO Champion, femaledwarf/shandaras spread, podcasts (OutDPS, the Hunting Lodge etc) as well as configuring add-ons and raiding in general. How often do you play & what time (server time) are you online until?- With my previous guild it was at least from around 19:30 server time till 00:00-02:00 server time. However if for instance there's new content or something I'm pushing for in-game I'll be on longer (possibly 16:00-17:00 on and off till whenever).
Are you able to use Ventrilo?- Yes, installed and I have a mic (although I'm not the biggest fan of talking over it, I definitely will do if and when it's necessary; I also got my previous guilds server up and had a little radio station going so I've got experience with the client generally.
Names of current Revolution members you know, if any- Don't think I could say I know any atm.
What alts have you got and what level are they?- A 70 priest on the Horde side, Helel; apart from that just the bank alts.
Can you commit to raiding a minimum of 2 nights out of Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday from 7.45pm to 11.30pm server time?

Hi and thx for a very good application.
I'll have a chat with the rest of the officers and get back to you. I thought I recognised the name when you /w me and now I see you were in the guild in the past I know why.
